2007 HANO CONFERENCE

Moving Forward Together

   Wednesday, May 9, 2007
   Ko‘olau Golf Club
   Kaneohe, Hawai‘i

ATTENDING the 2007 HANO Conference is essential
for networking and professional development for all
nonprofit leaders and potential leaders.

JOIN Hawaii nonprofit colleagues – executive directors, board members, chief financial officers, program directors, staff members and emerging leaders representing HANO’s more than 250 member nonprofits statewide – for a full day of activities, workshops, networking and deliberations at "Moving Forward Together," HANO’s 2007 Conference, sponsored by `Oleo Community Television.

‘Olelo Community Television, O`ahu’s Public, Education, Government (PEG) Access provider, offers the island's diverse people, groups and communities the ability to exchange ideas freely with the use of non-commercial cable television. ‘Olelo offers services that help nonprofits broaden their reach and expand their messages, contributing to stronger, healthier, more engaged communities.

To encourage nonprofits from all islands to attend, conference sessions are scheduled to begin and end to accommodate airline schedules and free shuttle buses will provide transportation from the airport to the conference.

The "Moving Forward Together" planning committee, chaired by Laura Robertson of Goodwill Industries Hawaii, designed the conference program to prepare nonprofits for the future, focusing on advocacy, preparing a new generation for succession and success, sustainability, accountability and putting technology to work.

Discounted registrations are available for organizations with three or more registrants – so bring a staff member or volunteer. I look forward to seeing you at the Koolau Golf Club – May 9!

Sincerely,
John Flanagan
President & CEO
