We facilitate community initiatives to identify desired outcomes and appropriate community-level indicators.
The roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards often present significant challenges. With the pace of change and fluidity of the nonprofit sector, it is vital for nonprofit leaders to keep pace with changes affecting their responsibilities. HANO assists volunteer and professional leaders in understanding their roles and responsibilities so they can act effectively.
HANO board governance services respect the confidential nature of organizational issues while helping board and executive leaders to move their organizations forward. Consultations range in nature and time frame.
Nonprofit leadership and management has become increasingly dynamic as the sector applies technology, sharpens its customer focus, adopts accountability for results, manages rapid change and tackles other challenges. In the past, our organization supported executive director advancement through the Weinberg Fellow and Castle Colleagues programs. We are now working with Chaminade University, the University of Hawai‘i's community colleges and other partners to make such opportunities accessible to more nonprofit professionals and volunteer leaders statewide. HANO will work with your organization to identify and locate appropriate technical assistance.
