
52 possible vetoes include bills affecting nonprofits
If Governor Linda Lingle vetoes most of the bills on the list of 52 bills she sent back to the Legislature for public comment as possible vetoes, in addition to 13 vetoes she made during the 2008 session, that would be the most vetoes she would issue since she took office. She must make final decisions on the bills by July 8 – to veto, allow to pass without her signature or sign.
