Envision Hawai‘i will hold its fourth annual conference on Saturday, July 12, at the University of Hawaii-Manoa Campus Center. The theme, “Turn Your Passion into Action,” will focus on developing our passions into actionable programs and initiatives. The keynote will describe how one group has turned their passion into action by launching a movement to grow and use sustainable food resources for Hawai‘i food security.
Two rounds of concurrent breakout sessions will focus on skill development and a third session will provide a unique and collaborative environment to discuss issues participants bring to the table – and discussions will continue during a pau hana. Organizers hope connections forged at the conference will bring about changes participants seek and that Envision Hawai‘i will continue to strengthen and mobilize the community for the good of our island home. Registration will open soon at www.envisionhawaii.org.
