Silver Linings: Learning from Failure & Building Resilience

"I'm thankful for my struggle because without it, I wouldn't have stumbled upon my strength." -Alexandra Elle

Join us on December 1 for our last event of the year, HANO's annual meeting and awards luncheon, Silver Linings. We will explore how failures can be transformative when we look for the silver linings and build our resilience.

We'll celebrate and acknowledge nonprofit leaders who are demonstrating excellence in our sector and hear tales of epic failure and unanticipated positive results. Our featured guests who will share their personal stories are Beth Whitehead of American Savings Bank, José Fajardo of Hawaii Public Radio, and Noelani Kalipi of Kohala Institute along with our master of ceremonies, Jim Murphy of Honolulu Habitat for Humanity.

The same morning, we'll be holding our 4th Nonprofit Board Leadership Institute from 8:30 to 11:30am, for anyone wanting to learn more about best practices in nonprofit board service.
