Since 2002, the Administration for Native Americans has awarded 44 grants totaling more than $10.8 million to 41 organizations in the Pacific region which includes Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement is a training provider for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and its ANA grant program, which offers workshops to help Native communities prepare proposals for submission to ANA’s 2007 grant competition.

Two of the workshops will be in Hawai‘i:

  • Jan. 9-11 in Kona, Hawaii, at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel
  • Jan. 16-18 in Honolulu, at the Honolulu Airport Hotel

Organizations interested in applying for an ANA grant in 2007 are encouraged to register. Contact CNHA to take advantage of these free workshops at (800) 709-2642, info@anapacific.org or http://www.anapacific.org.
