Better Business Bureau of Hawai‘i selects Dwight Kealoha as new CEO

The Better Business Bureau of Hawai'i announced Friday, Oct. 20, the appointment of Dwight Kealoha to lead the 3,000-member organization. Kealoha had been vice president of Kuluku LLC and Kuhana Associates LLC, two new, small businesses started under the Native Hawaiian Organization program. Previously, Kealoha was CEO and president of Unity House, a nonprofit labor union organization, and he served in positions at Kamehameha Schools after a 29-year career in the U.S. Air Force, fro which he retired as a brigadier general after commanding the 15th Air Base Wing at Hickam AFB and flying more than 300 combat missions.

Kealoha is a graduate of Iolani School and earned Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Hawai'i-Manoa and a Master's degree in Human Resources from the University of Utah. He is on the board of directors of Child and Family Services, Special Olympics Hawaii and the Aviation Museum of the Pacific and the Chaminade University board of regents.
