UH launches Masters in Public/Community Health Nursing

The University of Hawai‘i-Manoa School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene is initiating a new Masters Degree in Public/Community Health Nursing, a 36 credit program that is designed to be taken part time and completed in two years.

The curriculum is based upon coursework from the Department of Nursing, School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene and the Department of Public Health Sciences and Epidemiology, John A. Burns School of Medicine. Stidents can select a special focus area for study; and two courses in the 36 credit program will be taken in this chosen focus area. Coursework will be available via distance learning. The degree is designed to educate leaders in the field of public and community health.
