Aloha United Way has opened the application process for 2010 impact funding for agencies working in the areas of homelessness and crime and drug use. The deadline for submission of applications is May 15.
Applications for 2010 funding are available to complete online using AUW’s “eCImpact” system. To access the system and for instructions, contact Norm Baker at (808) 543-2202 or norm@auw.org.
Aloha United Way's 2009 Pacesetter Campaign will be from May 26 to July 2 and the General Campaign will be from Sept. 1 to Oct. 9. AUW has advised partner organizations that there is no longer a fundraising “blackout period” during the General Campaign. "However, we remind you that our policies do require that you refrain from fundraising during the General Campaign if possible," Baker said.
Two orientation sessions on the impact fund application process are scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, in the Oahu Room on the 5th Floor of the AUW building at 200 N. Vineyard Blvd., Honolulu. They will cover questions about the application, the selection process and the funding. Space is limited; RSVP to Baker at (808) 543-2202 or norm@auw.org to sign up for the orientation sessions.
