DCCA to hold financial literacy fair in Honolulu April 8

The Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs will hold a free financial literacy fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at Tamarind Park in downtown Honolulu as part of Financial Literacy Month. The fair will provide financial education information, services and programs to the public, the DCCA said.

Volunteer exhibitors include:

  • DCCA educational programs;
  • Better Business Bureau;
  • Executive Office of Aging – SMP Hawaii;
  • Hawaii Community Lending;
  • Hawaii State Public Library System;
  • HI529 Hawaii’s College Savings Program;
  • Social Security Administration;
  • University of Hawaii at Manoa Cooperative Extension Office;
  • Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Hawaii;
  • Hawaii Home Ownership Center;
  • United States Post Office;
  • AARP - Hawaii;
  • Honolulu Police Department and the FBI
