The NOAA and The Nature Conservancy are accepting applications for funding for community-based restoration. Grants ranging from $25,000 to $85,000 are available for projects that will result in tangible and measurable restoration of living marine resources and involve significant community engagement and support.
Preference will be given to projects within priority conservation areas identified through TNC's Marine Ecoregional Assessments, and other TNC priority-setting approaches at the state and territory level. Involvement or support of local TNC chapters is encouraged. The deadline for proposal submission is April 24.
