PBN to honor the 40 best and brightest under 40

Pacific Business News will honor forty young Hawaii business leaders under the age of 40 on Thursday, June 25, at the Hawaii Convention Center. One will be named the PBN Young Business Leader of the Year and another the Bank of Hawaii Young Community Leader of the Year.

The newspaper is calling for nominees who are “recognized industry leaders with a consistent take-charge attitude who show a high degree of business acumen and sharp business-like approaches to efficiency and change.” Nominees should have the respect of their colleagues and be committed to their communities beyond the requirements of their job and industry.

They must be under the age of 40 on June 25. Previous Forty Under 40 class members are not eligible. Self-nominations are encouraged and nominators’ names are not disclosed. The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 13.

An independent panel of judges, all previous Forty Under 40 Young Business Leader of the Year honorees, will select winners based on information provided through the nomination process. Click here for more information and to nominate a candidate.
