Jan Nakamoto of the State Data Center said, “This week, the Census Bureau sent us thousands of the Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander brochures on the 2010 Census.” The brochure, “How People Are Counted," can be seen on the Census Bureau Internet site, http://2010.census.gov/partners/materials/brochure-materials.php.
“The brochure is in English and the graphics are attractive,” Nakamoto said. “ We also have some Chinese Awareness posters, if you are interested.” The poster can be seen at http://2010.census.gov/partners/materials/posters-materials.php.
“The Census Bureau also sent us Language Assistance Guides packs,” she said. “Each pack has various languages (about 50 sheets).” Find them at http://2010.census.gov/2010census/pdf/LAG_Chinese-Simplified.pdf.
