UH-Manoa to offer nonprofit management program

The University of Hawaii at Manoa's Public Administration Program plans to offer a new graduate certificate in nonprofit management beginning in the fall. The school said March 15 the certificate is intended for professionals and students interested in gaining skills needed for a variety of roles including management, grant writing and fundraising.

The certificate takes an interdisciplinary approach and includes viewpoints from public administration, business, social work, public health, and law. The certificate offers an opportunity to learn from experts in the field and provides foundational knowledge to provide a rich and unique learning experience. Certificates will be issued by the Public Administration Program.
