Building materials offered to nonprofits at low or no cost

The Nanakuli Housing Baseyard Hawaii is offering nonprofit organizations an opportunity to acquire airconditioning equpment and building materials at low or no cost. The items include "a lot of good stuff" – doors, flooring, kitchen cabinets, light fixtures and more. There are also 50 RHEEM outdoor air conditioner condensers, described as "new, older units that I believe are the duct-using variety. Nonprofits can get these for a song or even less."

Agencies are encouraged to take a look before a public sale planned for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23. Baseyard hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays during the summer from 9 a.m. to noon.
