City & County of Honolulu seeks CDBG and HOME applicants

Nonprofits with programs that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons, aid in the elimination of slums and blight or meet other urgent community needs may apply now for approximately $8 million in community development block grants

In addition, $3.5 million is available in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds, available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, for community housing development organizations and other qualified private nonprofits to develop and support affordable rental housing and homeownership affordability. Priority goes to community housing development organizations to develop multi-family rentals.
