HANO members save time and
money with this communications tool

A growing number of Hawai‘i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations members are taking advantage of significant time and money savings by signing up with ReadyTalk.com, a leading national provider of teleconference and webinar services, which offers special members-only pricing to HANO nonprofits.

In fact, HANO itself uses ReadyTalk for spur-of-the-moment conference calls with committee members and to save Board members travel time to Honolulu. Spend a productive hour in your office rather than a half day or more at airports or in planes or traffic. Even if your meetings are on-island, ReadyTalk is a time- and money-saving alternative to fighting traffic, finding parking and refilling your gas tank.

We also use ReadyTalk to create clear, .mp3, digital recordings of meetings that result in more easily transcribed and accurate minutes. We can even send these by email or post them on our web site so people who could not attend can download them when it is convenient.

Only the host organization pays for conference calls; your guests calling in from other islands or area codes do so toll-free. The rate is a low 6 cents per minute per caller and you can add visuals through web conferencing for just 10 cents more. The web interface even allows participants to jointly edit documents and spreadsheets.

There are no charges to set up an account, which is billed monthly and is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you decide not to continue using ReadyTalk, there are no further obligations. No reservations are necessary to set up a call, free technical support and training are available and you can host up to 96 participants at once.
