Free email broadcasting offered to nonprofits

Need to develop a dialog with donors, patrons, alumni or members? VerticalResponse.com can make it easier. VerticalResponse for Nonprofits is a program that enables nonprofits to communicate with their supporters via email broadcasts, up to 10,000 emails per month, for free.

Nonprofits enrolled in the program get 10,000 free email credits at the start of each month. It’s a ‘use-it-or-lose-it’ system, so credits expire at the end of that month, but the organization is eligible for 10,000 more emails the following month.

501(c)(3) nonprofits are eligible; just fill out the application form. If you need to send more than 10,000 emails in one month, additional email credits are available for purchase at a 15% discount.

Organizations already using the service won’t get refunds for credits purchased prior to joining the program, but they can either use up existing credits before getting started, or use them if they exceed the 10,000 free email monthly limit. VerticalResponse also offers nonprofits a 15 percent discount on surveys and direct mail postcards.

Nonprofits that are already approved and receiving 15 percent discounts from VerticalResponse can send an email to nonprofits@verticalresponse.com telling them to switch the account to take advantage of emailing for free.
