PONO Fellows named
The Hawai‘i Community Foundation has announced the PONO program class for 2008-2009. PONO, which stands for “Promoting Outstanding Nonprofit Organizations,” is a leadership development program that brings together mid-career, nonprofit executives for a dynamic, peer-centered, professional learning experience.
It is the goal of PONO to create a network of empowered, innovative, and resilient executives, capable of navigating change and moving their organizations towards social innovation with greater impact. The following are the PONO 6 (2008-2009) participants:

Envision Hawai'i honors HANO's Lily Bloom Domingo
The 2008 Envision Hawai'i Award for Excellence in Mentorship was presented to Lily Bloom Domingo, COO and Program Director of the Hawai'i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations, at the July 12 Envision Hawai'i Annual Conference. Bloom Domingo was recognized for her supportive, informal mentoring style that has touched the lives of many young nonprofit professionals and social entrepreneurs. Envision Hawai'i thanked Lily for her development and support of the next generation of leaders.
