Waikiki center adds psychologist and new services

Waikiki Health Center has hired clinical psychologist Conrad Moreno to provide patients with behavioral health care in addition to medical care, including short- and long-term individual health and group therapy for pain, anger and chronic disease management.

Moreno has a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialty in health psychology. He has worked with Mexican-American immigrants in an outpatient medical clinic in a rural setting and with ethnically diverse Hawaii patients.

"He is willing to try new approaches and work side by side with our doctors and providers to offer the best quality of care for our patients," said Sheila Beckham, center executive director. Appointments can be made with Moreno by calling (808) 922-4787.
