Honolulu to host world congress on zero emissions

We all have a big problem, according to Enterprise Honolulu. We're out of balance. We use more resources than we have and do not use them in the best way. No one person, no one government and no one business can solve this problem – and we’re running out of time. So, why don’t we invite everyone in the world to Hawaii who can help us figure out how to get back in balance? If you don’t dream you get stuck. It’s pretty amazing what a good dream can make happen.

The World Congress on Zero Emissions Initiatives is happening. 120 countries around the world are watching us. Teachers, students, businessmen, governments, scientists, grandparents and people from all walks of life are signing up. The movement is gaining momentum and what’s going to happen in September in Honolulu is going to change the way we live.

The agenda has been updated and expanded. Details on panel and poster sessions have been added. To sign up and be part of the solution, go to:  www.zeroemissionshawaii.org

What is 'The Blue Economy?'

A central theme of The World Congress on Zero Emissions Initiatives is “The Blue Economy,” which is best illustrated with an example. Click here and scroll down to view a video about two entrepreneurs who have started a venture that turns one of the largest waste streams in America into something valuable for the greater community. It's a business model that also closes the loop on waste and improves the environment.

The Blue Economy - 10 Years, 100 Innovations, 100 Million Jobs by Professor Gunter Pauli is now on sale at the Enterprise Honolulu website. Click the link to read more about the book and to order your own copy.

Sponsors and exhibitors are still coming on board. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor, read more about sponsorship opportunities, exhibiting and registration information at www.zeroemissionshawaii.org or call Mark McGuffie at Enterprise Honolulu: (808) 521-3611
