Webinar to highlight how nonprofit governance is changing

Frank Kurre, national managing partner for Grant Thornton's nonprofit industry practice and Larry Ladd, national director for its higher education practice, will present how nonprofit and higher education institutions are changing governance policies. Learn how your organization can use "best and next" governance practices as a resource for developing or improving governance policies among the board of directors.

The webcast will also include an overview of our findings from our newly released “2007 National Board Governance Survey for Not-for-Profit Organizations,” including key provisions of the survey pertaining to board structure and responsibilities, board oversight of investments, the audit committee and the internal audit function, and independence and accountability.

The webcast will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Hawai‘i Time on Thursday, Dec. 13. There is no cost. Senior executives are encouraged to invite board members to sit in. Participants can receive up to 1.5 CPE credits. Seating is limited to 500 people, so register right away.
