LASH seeks volunteers for tax preparation program

The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii has received a federal grant for a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance project and is seeking interns and volunteers state-wide to assist in free personal income tax preparation. 

No experience is necessary. LASH will provide training at various times, dates and places on each of the islands. "This is an excellent opportunity for students to obtain practical experience as well as providing community service to Hawaii’s people," said Merrill Oka, LASH program manager.
