Michael M. Kaiser, president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, who is popularly known as the "Turn Around King," will be interviewed by Noe Tanigawa, Hawai'i Public Radio Arts and Culture correspondent, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Mission Memorial Auditorium, 550 South King St., Honolulu, which is next to Honolulu City Hall.
Kaiser is visiting cities throughout the U.S. with the "Arts in Crisis Tour," offering insights to help arts, performing arts and culture organizations move ahead during these tough times. More information about his tour at www.artsincrisis.org.
The program will be presented by the Hawai'i Arts Alliance in partnership with the Honolulu Theatre for Youth and the Honolulu City and County Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts.
