‘2010 Taggies’ honor 17 nonprofits for outstanding taglines
More than 6,100 voters selected 17 winners from among the 70 finalists identified by an expert panel of judges for the third annual 2010 Getting Attention Nonprofit Tagline Awards, says Nancy E. Schwartz, Publisher of the Getting Attention Blog & E-news. Awards were made for program, fundraising and special events and for the strongest organizational taglines.
The nonprofts behind the winning taglines range from the regional Indiana State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association to the national Youth Service America and global Episcopal Relief and Development. All the winners put a few select words to work to build to build awareness of their value and put them squarely in audiences’ hearts, minds, schedules and wallets. Nonprofit communicators tell us consistently that the winning taglines are important ingredients in brainstorming their own branding and marketing.
