Thanks to the Nonprofit Quarterly’s Philanthrobabble Generator, “an innovative and impactful component of NPQ’s capacity building toolbox,” grant writers will never again have to actually think for themselves when crafting proposals.
“This is your handy dandy one-stop shop for pre-fab phrases of sectoral jargon in current use. And they sure seem like they should mean something,” says the magazine’s web site. “Slip one into your newest proposal and report back on the leveraging value add of this effort!”
NPQ thanks all of its readers who donated the jargon that most annoys them, such as “synergize back-of-the-envelope stewardship” and “drill down on indigenous technology,” and to one special reader, Ophelia Paine, who developed the PBG.
Click here to access the PBG and then hit the “Create Jargon” button to generate useful phases to insert in your next proposal.
Just kidding.
