Win recognition for your top woman leaders, volunteer or staff

Last year, Pacific Business News launched a new recognition program expressly designed for nonprofit volunteer leaders, the 2007 Woman Community Leader of the Year. This award will honor women who make a difference by contributing their time, energy and talents working tirelessly as volunteers in support of one or more of Hawaii's many nonprofits. The 2006 winner was Jean Rolles, who serves on 19 boards and is involved in seven community activities.

Nominees do not have to be in a leadership position in business or even currently employed. Ten finalists will be selected and honored at the annual Women Who Mean Business event on May 10. The deadline for nominations is Friday March 16. Click here for more information and nomination forms.
