Nominate a Businesswoman of the Year by Feb. 22
Pacific Business News seeks nominations for the 2008 PBN Businesswoman of the Year, who will be the tenth winner and join a growing list of outstanding women business leaders. The PBN Businesswoman of the Year award winners so far have included:
- 1999 – Kitty Lagareta, chairman and CEO of Communications Pacific
- 2000 – Jean Myers, former managing director, CORE Group One
- 2001 – Lynne Madden, executive vice president, the Madden Corp.
- 2002 – Faye Kurren, president of Hawaii Dental Service
- 2003 – Nonie Toledo, vice president and general manager of Sprint Hawai‘i
- 2004 – Geri Marullo, president and CEO of the Consuelo Foundation
- 2005 – Crystal Rose, partner at Bays Deaver Lung Rose Holma
- 2006 – Donna Goth, former president of Aina Nui Corp. and Kapolei Property Development
- 2007 – Susan Au Doyle, Aloha United Way president and CPO
Winning candidates have exceptional leadership skills and strong business acumen, are involved in their communities and recognized in their industries. Twenty finalists will be selected and honored at the tenth annual Women Who Mean Business event on April 17 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
