Tuesday, Feb. 3, is Community Links Hawaii’s next free coffee gathering for folks doing community-based work. "First Tuesday @ Downtown" will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m., at Downtown @ the HiSAM restaurant on Bethel Street.
RSVP by emailing Josh Levinson, josh@communitylinkshawaii.org, who says more than 100 people came to the last such event, and “we're expecting another capacity crowd. We've heard many reports of new connections made, so the February event will give you even more time to talk story.”
Deputy Attorney General Hugh Jones plans to be in the crowd, Levinson said, “ so bring your questions about Hawaii's new requirements for nonprofits.” Maui-based organizational effectiveness coach and consultant Jeff Schwartz will introduce novel, real-time approaches for enabling your organization to explore practical, concrete and workable partnerships that meet your organization's most important needs.
"First Tuesday @ Downtown" is co-hosted by Community Links Hawaii and Downtown @ the HiSAM restaurant. Hawaii Student Television will videotape portions of the Feb. 3 event, which is sponsored in part by First Risk Management Services, Hawaii representative for the Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance - Risk Retention Group.
