Honolulu Magazine offers a free promotional opportunity

Honolulu Magazine can help nonprofits promote their fundraising events for free. Register your organization at honolulumagazine.com  and you can post events to an online calendar, where it will be seen by thousands of monthly website visitors.

Users can post their event description, link to the event website, add an event image and list contact information and details. Users can also categorize their events — concerts, exhibits, fundraisers, etc. — so visitors can find exactly what they’re looking for and so the magazine can highlight events on similarly themed sections of the website.

With enough lead time, events on the calendar can be considered for inclusion in the magazine in the “7 Reasons to Get Out” page in each month’s Calabash section.
