Gov. Linda Lingle delivered her eighth and final State of the State Address on Jan. 26, “with a focus on improving the quality of life for residents, stimulating the economy, creating jobs, improving education and building a stronger future for Hawaii,” according to her weekly newsletter.
“The Governor spoke to the people of Hawaii about reaffirmation and rededication,” the newsletter said. “Reaffirmation of who we are and what we are for, and rededication to the kind of future we want for the next generation – a future we will all share.” Click here to read the text of the State of the State Address.
