schedules Tour de Trash 2011  

The Tour de Trash kicks off the first tour of the 2011 series in February. Early registration is open now. Tour de Trash is the City and County of Honolulu's award-winning annual tour series that showcases how recyclable materials and solid waste are managed on Oahu. 

Now in its 13th year, the popularity of Tour de Trash has not waned. If taking a bus tour to the trashier side of Oahu sounds interesting to you, reserve a seat early. Buses usually fully book within a few weeks and subsequent callers are put on a waitlist for each tour. Here are the tour topics and dates:

• Workplace Recycling - Thursday, Feb. 17
• Wastewater Treatment - Thursday, March 17
• Recycling & Waste Processors - Saturday, May 7
• Construction & Demolition - Thursday, July 21
• Recycled Products - Thursday, Sept. 22
• Recycling & Waste Processors - Thursday, Nov. 17
