Mutual of America is seeking nominations for its 2011 Mutual of America Community Partnership Awards, which recognize and encourage partnerships dedicated to the public good among businesses , government and social sector organizations.
Now in its 16th year, the Community Partnership Award has recognized over 150 partnerships from cities and towns across America, expanding public awareness of their work and helping them attract additional partners and new sponsors.
The Award Guidelines also include case studies of last year’ s national award winner and the two honorable mention programs. The guidelines are available for viewing at http://mutualofamerica.com. To enter the 2011 competition, download and mail the application by April 1.
“Since 1945, Mutual of America has assisted nonprofit organizations with their retirement and other employee benefit plans and programs,” said Thomas Moran, Mutual’s chairman, president and CEO. “The annual Community Partnership Award is meant to help increase recognition of the significant services provided by the social sector to those among us who are most in need.”
