Hawai‘i Employers Council newsletter goes paperless

After 60 years of paper publication, the Hawai‘i Employers Council’s “News Digest” member newsletter will switch from paper to electronic publishing effective Jan. 2.

The new format will allow HEC to expand its coverage with more in-depth news on important human resource and labor relations issues, court decisions and trends and provide links to follow-up information elsewhere on the web. Also planned are changes to the HEC website, including new search capabilities, access to HEC resources and online registration and payment for HEC events.

“We hope that these changes make it easier and more efficient for our members to find out the important information needed to manage their businesses,” the HEC announcement said.
