‘Olelo's ‘Snap-Pack’ can get your message out in a jiffy
‘Olelo Community Television – Oahu’s public, education and government television access provider – is offering a nonprofit “Snap-Pack” to help local charities connect with their communities with minimal investment of resources. ‘Olelo now broadcasts on six channels on Oceanic Time Warner’s cable system, channels 49, 52, 53, 54, 55 and 56.
The package of services for nonprofits includes:
- Giving Aloha – a 30-minute, multi-camera panel discussion produced by ‘Olelo for free within a month that features your nonprofit’s topic, host and panel.
- MiniStudio – for organizations that want more than just one half-hour program or who want to be more involved in their show’s format, the MiniStudio is available. ‘Olelo staff provide training and technical assistance for your nonprofit to shoot its own, live-to-tape, 30-minute shows.
- Island Info – an electronic bulletin board featuring upcoming events and information about nonprofits and community organizations that appears at various times throughout the day on several ‘Olelo channels. Just click here to download a form, fill it out and your group can be on the air.
