On June 1-4, hundreds of nonprofit professionals will converge on the nation’s capital to act collectively for positive change in our sector and in our communities. Will you be one of them? The Hawai‘i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations has been selected as the state coordinator for the Nonprofit Congress 2008. We’ll be there and we hope you will, too.
Those who convene will connect with peers from across the country and commit to creating positive change. They will gain inspiration from noted plenary speakers and from the work done across the country by fellow attendees. They will build on collective successes and lay the foundation for continued work in local communities.
Organizers urge Hawai‘i nonprofit leaders to join with thousands of other nonprofits who have affirmed their commitment to the values held by the sector through daily actions and to hear from other leaders in the field who have participated in local town hall meetings.
“Nonprofit Congress 2008: Convene, Connect, Commit” will build on and celebrate the accomplishments of nonprofits committed to positive change for our sector and our communities. Don’t wait to be part of this exciting event. Early bird registration is now open – click here for more information and to register.
