Legislators to hold roundtable talks about future of OYS

The Office of Youth Services will be the subject of a roundtable discussion from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 8, in Conference Room 329 at the Capitol.

"We hope that you will be able to attend and assist in inviting people, who are concerned about Hawaii's youth and the future of the Office of Youth Services, to this meeting." said Senator Suzanne Chun Oakland and Representative John Mizuno, chairs of the Senate and House Committees on Human Services.

"Mahalo for your collective concern." the Legislators said. "We know that we will work together to get through the next year. Our focus at this meeting will be to discuss the future of OYS and the welfare of our young people going forward."
