HANO elects new members to board of directors

At the Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organization’s annual meeting and mini-conference on Dec. 9 at the Koolau Ballrooms Conference Center in Kaneohe, member organizations elected four new members to the governing board. They are:

• Robert Masuda – formerly with YMCA International, now retired
• Heather Piper – senior vice president, Central Pacific Bank
• Jerry Rauckhorst – president & CEO, Catholic Charities Hawaii
• L. Jani Sheppard – CEO, Maui Family Support Services. Inc.

Outgoing board members, whose terms have expired are: Pam Burns of the Hawaiian Humane Society, Susan Chandler of UH-Manoa, Beth Giesting of Hawaii Primary Care Association and Sheryl Seaman of Group 70.

The new board members join serving members, who include: Chair Laura Robertson of Goodwill Industries Hawaii, Vice Chair Mike Gleason of the Arc of Hilo, Secretary Steven L.F. Ho of Torkildson Katz Moore Hetherington & Harris, Treasurer Mike Onofrietti of Island Insurance Companies, Gail Mukaihata Hannemann of Girl Scouts Hawaii, John Howell of Easter Seals Hawaii, Consultant Phil Kinnicutt, Judy Lenthal of Kauai Food Bank, Cheryl Kauhane Lupenui of the YWCA of Oahu, Geri Marullo of Northstar Alliance, Sarah Richards of Hawaii Theatre Center and Noelani Lee Yamashita of Ka Honua Momona International.
