Bay Clinic offers a speaker
on future of Hawaii health

The Bay Clinic of Hilo values educational outreach as an important way to understand and meet the health care needs of the communities it serves. In the spirit of getting a head start on making positive changes in the new year, Bay Clinic Medical Director Fatima Phillips is now accepting requests for 2011 speaking engagements in East and South Hawaii.

Dr. Phillips’ topic, “The Future of Health in Hawaii,” addresses the impact of health care reform on community health centers, care homes, and patient centered care in Hawaii. Board Certified Occupational Health Physician Fatima C. Phillips, MD, PhD, MPH is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, the University of Southern Illinois and Saint Mary's College in Indiana. Her professional history includes serving as director of Occupational Health Support for NASA, medical director for both Boeing and General Motors and director of Health Services for the U.S. Army.
