Webinar will explain federal adoption tax credit

The North American Council on Adoptable Children will host three one-hour webinars on the U.S. federal adoption tax credit. The webinars will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, and at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1. Cost is $15 for NACAC members and $20 for non-members.

Participants will learn how to file for the U.S. federal adoption tax credit, whether you adopted in 2010 or as far back as 2005. Josh Kroll will explain the credit, how it recently became refundable and what parents need to do to take advantage of the credit. The session will focus on families who adopted children with special needs from foster care but will be applicable to all adoptive families.
