Add your events to the 2007 Kōkua Calendar update

Honolulu Magazine once again will publish a quarterly special section called "Kōkua Calendar: A Registry of Charitable Events in Hawaii," featuring nonprofit fund-raisers, from black-tie galas to book sales. The next edition will be in the September issue and feature events scheduled for October, November and December 2007.

If your organization has any such events planned during this timeframe forward detailed information as soon as possible to kokua@pacificbasin.net. The submission deadline is Wednesday, July 18. Include the following:

• Official title of the event
• Location of the event
• Date and time
• Description of the event
• Cost/entry fee
• Names of chairpersons
• Name of sponsoring/benefiting organization
• Public contact information (phone number, e-mail address, web address)

Honolulu will run as many photos of events as manageable, the higher quality the better. Identify, if possible, any people in the photo and the event where it was taken and either send prints or slides to Kōkua Calendar, Honolulu Magazine, 1000 Bishop St., Ste 405, Honolulu, HI 96813 or, better, email a high-resolution image (300 dpi or better) to kokua@pacificbasin.net.
