Hawai‘i Community Foundation will hold informational meetings statewide in July for nonprofits and programs seeking support from the Crystal Meth Initiative and the Hawai‘i Tobacco Prevention and Control Trust Fund. HCF will release four requests for proposals on July 2 for programs seeking support from these programs.
Financial assistance is available for participants from Lanai and Molokai. Assistance is limited to one participant per organization and will be made on a first come, first served basis.
Two RFPs for Crystal Meth Initiative funding will be available for prevention and treatment programs for Kaua‘i, Maui County and O‘ahu. Two RFPs for Hawai‘i Tobacco Prevention & Control Trust Fund funding will be available for prevention and cessation programs throughout out the state, seeking support for planning and replication of successful approaches.

The meetings will include training on development of logic models and evaluation plans, which are required components of a proposal responding to these RFPs and grant seekers are encouraged by HCF to review the RFPs before attending.
