The Hawaii Community Foundation's Organizational Capacity Building program is designed to enhance a nonprofit's ability to achieve its mission by providing grants that help to improve the management or governance of an organization. The Foundation is interested in funding projects that will measurably improve an organization's ability to deliver on its mission.
The OCB Implementation Grants available include, but are not limited to: Governance and Leadership, Communications, Evaluation and Impact, Fund Development, Internal Operations and Management and Technology.
Also available are OCB Planning Grants for nonprofits interested in developing a strategic, technology, fundraising, communications, marketing or business plan, or an organizational assessment. Organizations may apply for one planning and one implementation grant in the same calendar year.
Deadline to apply is July 15. Contact ocb@hcf-hawaii.org for more information.
