Hawaii Psychological Association seeks award applicants

The Hawaii Psychological Association is seeking nominations for its 11th annual Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award. The statewide award, which aims to promote psychological health in the workplace, recognizes excellence in five categories: large business, medium business, small business, nonprofit organization, and government, educational or military institution.

The Hawaii Psychological Association represents more than 300 Hawaii psychologists in advancing the science and practice of psychology and excellence in service. The deadline to submit applications is July 31. The awards will be handed out Oct. 29 at the association’s annual conference in Honolulu.

Last year’s winners were Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union, Department of Education — Leeward Autism Project, Communications Pacific, Kaikor Construction, and Maui Divers Jewelry.
