The Corporation for National and Community Service encourages nonprofit organizations to apply for grant funds to support the existing RSVP program serving the City and County of Honolulu and asks them to review this information about RSVP to discover if the project is consistent with your organization’s interests and capabilities as a potential project sponsor.
RSVP connects volunteers age 55 and over with service opportunities in their communities that match their skills and availability. RSVP volunteers put their unique talents to work to meet local needs in education, the environment, health, human needs and other critical areas.
CNCS wishes to identify a new sponsor for the existing RSVP project serving the City and County of Honolulu. The new sponsor will assume management of these resources, maintaining the volunteers and the volunteer stations of the current RSVP project, and will support the continued growth and development of the program.
