Both the baccalaureate and masters’ programs at the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work at the University of Hawaii at Manoa have received full accreditation for the next eight years, the university announced on June 28.
Site visitors concluded that the school’s programs were fundamentally sound and had strong community connections, UH said. The Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Accreditation also determined that the program’s distance-education delivery option was exemplary in organization and structure.
