Keiki Caucus to conduct Sustainability Tours

Hawaii Senator Suzanne Chun Oakland and the Keiki Caucus have announced two Sustainability Tours of Hawaii nonprofits, one in August and another in September.

• Tour 1 – Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The group will meet in front of the Father Damien Statue at the State Capitol and travel by van to Next Step Shelter in Kakaako, Kokua Kalihi Valley and Helemano Plantation, where there will be a lunch and tour. Cost is $10. RSVP by July 15.
• Tour 2 -- Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The group will meet in front of the Father Damien Statue at the State Capitol and travel by van to Kalani High School, Sweet Home Waimanalo Restaurant, Nalo Farms and Waianu Farm. RSVP by July 30.
