Nonprofits team up to give Hawaii students supplies

The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii and Catholic Charities Hawaii are working to provide school supplies for disadvantaged children, particularly students on the neighbor islands and especially those in the poorest communities through the "A Hand Up For Families in Need" partnership.
 
Cash donations, backpacks and school supplies will be gratefully accepted at the EF Hawaii office, 1000 Bishop St., Suite 902, Honolulu until Wednesday, July 20. Checks may be made payable to Catholic Charities Hawaii, and donations may also be made online at www.CatholicCharitiesHawaii.org -- please include a note that the donation is for the EF Hawaii School Supplies Drive.
 
While all donations of school supplies are welcome, backpacks are the most requested item. Cash donations are especially helpful to minimize transport costs.
