Envision Hawai`i conference aims to position
you to 'Be the Foundation for the Future'

As Hawaii’s nonprofits and public service organizations respond to unprecedented changes, the need for extraordinary leadership and creative solutions has never been greater. Today’s social entrepreneurs must steer through uncharted waters, build relationships that enhance their work, make wise decisions with limited resources, and plan for an uncertain future.

Envision Hawai‘i, a network of public servants and social entrepreneurs making careers out of making a difference in Hawai‘i, invite anyone interested in getting involved attend the Third Annual Envision Hawaii Conference: “Be the Foundation for the Future,” and learn how to effectively position yourself or your organization for the future.

Topics on the program include:

  • Keynote speaker William P. Kenoi, executive assistant in the Office of Mayor Harry Kim, County of Hawai‘i  
  • Community involvement: Ten ways to get involved
  • Framing the issue of political involvement: To be or not to be
  • Alternative energy and water plans
  • Giving back makes good sense: Promoting philanthropy in business
  • Additional personal and professional development sessions
