The Hawai‘i Children's Trust Fund is now accepting proposals for community events designed to prevent child abuse and neglect. Eligible events include community events for families or training events where professionals and para-professionals can gain skills to enhance child abuse and neglect prevention services. Events may focus on primary prevention, which targets the general population, or secondary prevention, which targets those who may be “at risk” for child abuse and neglect.
Preference will be given to events that demonstrate community partnerships or collaboration, that are provided in underserved communities, and that demonstrate a match with other resources. The proposal submission deadline is July 11. Click here for more information and for the RFP.
